Casa Chépa is offering a one-of-a-kind beautifully handcrafted tortilla press. Each press is uniquely handmade, no two are exactly alike. The finely crafted tortilla press is ergonomically designed, the handle in particular is carefully turned on a lathe. The art of turning wood on a lathe is becoming a lost skill as it takes several years to become an expert wood artisan, as you can see from the images of this tortilla press. Casa Chépa values and nurtures working relationships with the local woodworking artisans.
The beautifully hand crafted and lovingly made presses are very functional and durable, as they are not mass produced.
